When creationists say “You can’t disprove the existence of God.”

I’m an atheist - I’m not trying to disprove anything. I’m just saying I simply don’t believe in it.

Also, having applied the logic of “you can’t disprove something if you don’t have the evidence to back it up” to lets say something like the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, I could easily say that she was kidnapped by a man who was half merman, half cat and you wouldn’t have the evidence to say “you’re wrong”, thus not being able to disregard what I have said (silly example - but you know what I’m driving at).

Another thing that pisses me off to no end is the whole “Atheists have no morals” thing. Let me just casually point out that the Bible allows selling your daughter as a sex slave, child abuse aaaand bashing babies against rocks.
